In 2023, four of the doctors received recognition as “Seattle’s Top Doctors.” While the center is best known for its prenatal care, they offer comprehensive visits that include fertility and gynecological assistance.

While the Center for Women’s Health resides right next to the Evergreen Health Medical Center, they’re privately owned and operate separately from the hospital. This allows them to work with additional insurance providers that might not be accepted at Evergreen. The Center for Women’s Health accepts most major insurance carriers as well as Medicare and Apple Health Medicaid carriers.

Services

The Center for Women’s Health sees gynecological patients starting at age 13. Dr. Delorit takes care of adolescent appointments and strives to make these visits as comfortable as possible. She specializes in treating heavy or painful periods, PCOS, contraceptive management, and more. Outside of adolescence, the center offers eight providers, two nurse practitioners, and a physician’s assistant to take care of regular gynecological appointments. 

You can visit the office for annual pap smears and exams, birth control counseling and management, menopause, pelvic pain, and menstrual disorders. The center provides a list of procedures in the office, including hysteroscopies, D&Cs, Novasure ablations, and LEEPs. For procedures such as laparoscopic hysterectomies and myomectomies, you’ll go next door to Evergreen Medical Center, where the practice’s experts will assist. 

If you start trying for a baby, you can visit the office for preconception counseling. During these visits, they’ll review your health history and see if any conditions could make pregnancy risky. They’ll advise you to ensure you can have the best head start for growing your family. 

The office provides exceptional care throughout pregnancy. Since opening the doors, they’ve delivered thousands of babies. While they’ll bring that expertise to every appointment, you’ll never feel as though you’re just another patient. The center assists with both normal and high-risk pregnancies. They’ll work with you through pregnancy with multiples and support you if you choose to try for a VBAC. 

Timeline For Center for Women’s Health at Evergreen

Throughout your appointments, your OB will get to know you so they can provide personalized care. They’ll provide you with evidence-based information so you can make educated decisions regarding your birth plan. You’ll have all your ultrasounds and lab work within the office. The physicians at the center deliver out of the Evergreen Hospital Maternity Center. 

As you near your due date, your doctor will work with you to ensure you feel ready for birth and parenthood. Evergreen Hospital provides a long list of classes that will prepare you for every form of labor and delivery. Your doctor can review different courses with you and help you decide on the one that’s best for you. You can also choose to take a course that discusses basic newborn care. The birthing center will allow you to tour the hospital ahead of time. Hence, you feel comfortable before your labor begins. 

At Evergreen, you’ll be placed in a modern and spacious birth suite, working with experienced nurses and your physician. As you progress through your labor, your family will have access to a large waiting area with a kitchen, televisions, and plenty of cozy seating. The hospital features state-of-the-art technology, a Level III NICU, and resources for postpartum care. 

Throughout your stay, your doctor will visit you to ensure you’re on the path to recovery. In the weeks following delivery, you’ll have several visits where she’ll check your progress and monitor you for any symptoms of postpartum mood disorders. You’ll also discuss contraceptive care and any concerns as you adjust to life with a baby.

The Center for Women’s Health physicians provide exceptional support for parents with difficulty conceiving. They offer genetic testing as well as fertility evaluation and treatment. You’ll be treated with the utmost compassion throughout every visit as you work with your team to find answers. 

The office provides infertility treatments, including basic studies, ovulation evaluation, ovarian reserve tests, ovulation induction, intrauterine insemination, and hysteroscopy/laparoscopy. If none of these options provide the desired results, your doctor will connect you to an infertility office that can provide more in-depth treatment plans.
