Services
Getting started with College in the High School couldn’t be any simpler! While programs like Running Start are offered on college campuses, College in the High School will be taught right there on your own campus. If you attend a Seattle public high school, your campus should have teachers who are qualified to teach their courses. You can work with your counselor to determine eligibility and get enrolled. Then, once you start one of their classes, your college transcript will be created. Following your graduation, you will be responsible for transferring your credits to the college or university of your choice. They will count just like regular college credits, giving you a kickstart to your associate’s or bachelor’s.

While dual enrollment classes might cost in other places, College in the High School is a tax-funded program that is available at no extra cost. Not only will it let you earn credits toward your degree, but it will also prepare you mentally.
