As a Seattle newborn photographer, I get to talk with countless new moms and dads. Many share the same feeling that parenthood is beautiful, but wow, it can feel overwhelming. Between sleepless nights, endless “firsts,” and figuring out who you are in this new chapter, having a strong support system is everything. That’s why I love telling families about The Heybrook Seattle! They created a hub for parenting support, learning, and community-building.

Before The Heybrook Seattle existed, co‑founders Celita and Stuart were right where many new parents find themselves, totally in love with their growing families but utterly depleted by the demands of early parenthood. Driving all over Seattle and the Eastside searching for support services, they realized something major was missing. A place where parents could be both supported and celebrated. After shepherding their four children through newborn, infant, and toddler stages, Celita and Stuart were inspired to create a supportive, empowering space where parents could connect, breathe, and feel seen. That vision became The Heybrook!
Tucked into the heart of Seattle, The Heybrook offers a parenting resource in an uplifting space that genuinely feels like it was built for us. If you’re expecting, newly postpartum, or navigating toddlerhood, The Heybrook offers a comforting blend of education, community, and hands‑on support.

From the moment you step inside, you can tell The Heybrook is intentionally designed to make parents feel seen and supported. Their offerings cover every stage of early parenthood, including prenatal education and workshops focused on labor, birth preparation, and the emotional transitions of motherhood. Postpartum groups, including new parent meetups and ongoing support circles. Feeds & needs support, helping parents navigate feeding challenges with expert guidance. Classes for parents and babies that encourage bonding and connection. And also, mental health resources geared toward postpartum well-being.
As a Seattle newborn photographer, I meet so many moms who tell me that these early months are equal parts magical and overwhelming. Having a place like The Heybrook, where you can ask questions, get emotional support, or simply connect with other Seattle parents, can make an incredible difference.

Parenthood evolves quickly, and The Heybrook Seattle is one of those rare places that evolves with you. Their team understands that no two families have the same journey, and they’ve created offerings to reflect that.
Their events are another standout. From educational sessions to community gatherings, they create opportunities for parents to feel understood and uplifted without judgment. It’s the kind of space where you can show up wearing yesterday’s sweatshirt, unpack whatever’s on your mind, and leave feeling lighter.
And let’s be honest, having a supportive place like this often leads to more confidence during your newborn session, too. When parents feel calm and cared for, it shows beautifully in photographs.
One of my favorite things about The Heybrook Seattle is the heart behind the space. Their mission focuses on nurturing parents as individuals, not just caregivers. And honestly, that’s something more places should do. Parenthood changes everything about your inner world, so having a supportive community tailored to those emotional shifts can be invaluable.
